Be comforted at least by the fact - did I say a wirty dird - that O'reilly works for the fox noise channel (doesn't merit capitalization); where facts don't matter. On that subject, I had the misfortune to watch a few minutes of the aforementioned infomercial for neocon stupidity the other day. I had forgotten to what great lengths they go to not deliver news at all, instead, there was just a bunch of factless rambling on about the events they deigned to cover - along with the infamous screen crawl. Made my meal taste far worse than it should have.Mikehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08990984013273246802noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35986348.post-569798216853009712007-09-24T17:18:00.000-04:002007-09-24T17:18:00.000-04:00P.S. I put in a plug for all of us each day when I post. Both parties are guilty of attempting to lead us to believe that the two party system is all we've got. They couldn't be more incorrect. It's time to begin the education process wherever we can. Thanks a bunch for what you do and do so well!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-35986348.post-82514437584332286682007-09-24T17:14:00.000-04:002007-09-24T17:14:00.000-04:00Hi Wayne!Nice piece about Loofah Bill. I couldn't ...Hi Wayne!
Nice piece about Loofah Bill. I couldn't agree with you more that everyone involved in our two party system right now is hoping against hope that the knowledge that we can have a viable third party candidate is not only plausible but may, in fact, become probable.

The Republicans are lobbying hard to increase Hillary's popularity which has to give one pause for reflection on their reasons and rationale for this suspicious level of support. Do they have skeletons from her closet which they can easily use to swiftboat her when/if she becomes Hillary, the candidate? Perhaps I am a cynic but I believe that this is more probable than not.

The Republican array of lockstep candidates (right down to their official uniform of dark suit, white shirt, and red tie) is looking paltry and pathetic from the outset and even with the emergence of Pappy Thompson into the race, they still have flagging numbers of registered voters and no enthusiasm for any of their candidates.

Which leads me to be very optimistic about the emergence of a viable "third party candidate"....Billy O's "dark horse" who wins the race.

I believe that if Hillary becomes the candidate and is effectively discredited by some of her previous scandals, then someone like Bloomberg could enter the scene in the Spring.

The only question I have right now is whom he might pick up as his Veep. Ron Paul? Russ Feingold? Kucinich? There's an assortment of capable, 'TRUTHFUL' individuals yet out there ripe for the pickin'.

Again, with you all the way that the news about "unaffiliated voters" is making headway. In fact, today in my local paper the AP article about New Hampshire Independents was "outed" - 44% registered Independents with very strong leanings toward Democratic ideology. That's pretty significant.

Soon the MSM will have no alternative, other than becoming totally obsolete due to their overt ignorance, but to begin mentioning the will of the "Independent/Unaffiliated" public.

Great blog, BTW....and Happy Monday to you!

Veritas
P.S.
